Fine and hot Mediterranean, fair central Europe too

Tuesday
Fairly high pressure over central and southern Europe. Warm sunshine and scattered afternoon showers for Spain and Portugal, possibly a thundery burst toward northwest Iberia later. Lots of sunshine through the Mediterranean, Italy and most of Greece and Turkiye. Local afternoon showers for Romania and Bulgaria.
Settled weather extends across France, the Alps and southern Germany, plenty of sunshine, feeling warm with light winds. An area of rain affects northern Germany, Denmark and northwestern Poland, becoming more extensive with time. A few light showers for the Netherlands, mainly in the morning.
Slack low pressure over Scandinavia, slow-moving heavy bursts of rain developing for Norway and Sweden, local showers for Finland and the Baltic states.

Wednesday
Thundery showers over Spain on Wednesday, most in central and northern areas. Fewer showers in the south. Fine and dry in the Balearics and across Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fair with good spells of sunshine. Greece and Turkey have a hot day with lots of sunshine here.
Showers in the far west of France. Fair for the rest of France with sunshine. The Low Countries will be dry and sunny as will be most of Germany. Poland may have some showers in the east. Hungary, and Austria as well Switzerland will be dry and sunny.
Fine in Denmark with good spells of sunshine. The Baltic States will be wet with periods of rain, some heavy. Scattered showers in the east of Sweden. Dry for southern Norway but showers in the north.
